The Landerneau pétanque club wins the Finistère cup

The seriousness and mastery of the Landerneau pétanque club in organizing competitions is well known to the governing bodies. Hence the decision taken by the departmental pétanque committee, Sunday September 29, 2024, to award the final phase of the Finistère Cup to the Landernean grounds. Four clubs, made up of eight players including at least one female, were competing at the Elorn bowling alley: Landerneau, Cléder, Plougasnou and Entente Hanvec-Le Faou, winner of the 2023 edition.

New victory two years later

A competition where all the players were able to compete in a good mood, in front of around a hundred spectators. Slamming balls resulting in some nice points for Landerneau. Because at the end of the head-to-head, doubles and triples matches, the locals brandished the cup after winning in the semi-final against Cléder and in the final against Hanvec-Le Faou. The trophy had already been won by Landerneau in 2022.

For the club, the month of October will be busy with activities. The team championships will begin next Sunday. There will also be the organization of a lottery, Saturday October 12, Saint-Ernel room, and the general assembly Saturday October 26.
