The TF1 host will replace Cauet on the Panther station.
The rumor has been circulating since the end of last season: Camille Combal was going to make his return NRJ (After having left radio in 2008).
The favorite host of TF1 was expected to take over the late afternoon slot (the drive-time) of the French Panther radio, in place of Cauet. In Belgium, we were rubbing our hands at having such a headliner in our nets, at the start of the school year…
But things weren’t that simple, and everything didn’t come together as easily as we’d hoped. Between the host and the Panther, there was – it seems – a story of big money. The arrival of Camille Combal at the start of the school year therefore fell through.
This Tuesday, white smoke appeared during a press conference in Paris. Combal will take over the 3 p.m.-7 p.m. slot of NRJ. A nice coup for French listeners.
In Belgium, euphoria is not there. Without Camille Combal, NRJ had to review its plans and created a show Made in Belgium with Mike, Coralie, Julien et Jeff to accompany the listener between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
What will happen on NRJ Belgium ? Are we going to remove Mike’s team to resume the French show with the voice of a French star (appreciated by young people)?
A delicate dilemma, especially since at this stage, the loves of Camille Combal and NRJ (France) would only last until the end of December 2024.
