October 1 mobilization: what to expect in Isère?

This Tuesday, October 1, several unions are calling for a strike throughout France. “So that social emergencies, expressed in mobilizations as well as in the ballot boxes, are finally heard! Pensions, salaries, public services, it is on these central subjects for the population that we can win and achieve victories at a time when the President of the Republic and the alliance up to the extreme right seek to impose against the general will the maintenance of the liberal and authoritarian course”we can read in a press release published by the inter-union in Isère.

What consequences for us?

This call for a strike should especially be followed in educational establishments. Cities d’Echirolles and of Saint-Martin-d’Hères also gave details of the nursery and primary schools impacted this Tuesday. Some will be closed all day. Not all unions responded to this call for mobilization (FO, CFDT and Unsa notably refused). Mobilization could therefore be quite weak at the national level. In transport, TGV traffic will not be impacted. There could nevertheless be some disruptions in Isère with regional trains. SNCF Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will update the traffic program for Tuesday, October 1 on his site.

Four gatherings in Isère

Four demonstrations are planned for this Tuesday, October 1. HAS Grenoblethe procession will leave the station at 10 a.m. to head towards Place de Verdun. Also at 10 a.m., a mobilization will take place at Bourgoin-Jallieu (meeting planned in Saint-Michel). HAS Viennathe meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. at the bus station. Finally, at Voironthe demonstration will leave at 2 p.m. from avenue François Mitterrand.
