Justice officials paralyze courts for 6 days in October

The National University of the Judiciary and the National Union of Justice have announced that they will begin a six-day national strike next October, demanding settlement of the court grievance file.

The National University of the Justice Sector, affiliated with the National Union of Labor in Morocco, and the National Union of Justice, affiliated with the Democratic Confederation of Labor, have decided to launch a national strike in different courts of the Kingdom , judicial centers, central administration, sub-directories and conservation and archives centers on October 1, 2 and 3, then October 8 and 9. And on the 10th of the same month “in confirmation of the continued implementation of the decision of the National Council requesting the continuation of the struggle movement.

This escalation occurs, according to a press release from the National League for the Judicial Sector, according to which the escalation “is due to the absence of positive measures on the part of the government, despite the congestion experienced by all judicial establishments for more than six month. »

The communication values ​​”the conscious and responsible involvement of female and male employees in the sector in the stages of struggle announced by the university during the previous period”, emphasizing that “this involvement is the guarantee of the success of the path of struggle for achieve the set objectives”. demands and consolidate the achievements.
The press release, published at the end of the meeting of the National Office of the National League for the Justice Sector, yesterday Thursday, expresses its aspiration for the return of social peace in the sector through the settlement of the file of just and legitimate demands, emphasizing his commitment to the decisions of the National Council to continue the “battle of struggle”.

The National University renewed its call on the government “to respond quickly to our legitimate and just demands”. As an ideal solution to prevent the sector from further congestion and its repercussions on the continuity of services of the judicial institution, especially after the failure of all important projects linked to judicial administration; Such as the structuring of courts, regional directorates and conservation and archive centers, in addition to the delay in the decision of the transition movement and the delay in the announcement of the professional competition to integrate graduates.

The National Directorate of the National University of the Judicial Sector called on employees, men and women, of the sector to continue “the fight, to close ranks and strengthen their cohesion, for the defense of our unified demands file”.

The National University of the Justice Sector also went on strike on Wednesday and Thursday September 18 and 19, 2024, as well as Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday September 24, 25 and 26.
