and Trélissac eliminated, two qualified for the 5th round

Boulazac (R1) enforced the hierarchy by winning at Saint-Priest-Taurion (D2, 0-5). “We mastered it from start to finish,” rejoices Mathieu de Matos, the ESB coach. The Boulazacois will be accompanied by Sarlat/Marcillac (R3), clear winner of Jugeals/Noailles (R2), his bête noire last season (3-0). “The players had a great match,” applauds coach Camille Durand.

The main disillusionment is to be attributed to Trélissac (N3), ingloriously eliminated in Charente at La Roche/Rivières (R3) with a goal conceded in the last minutes (3-2). (N2) was taken out by a lower-ranked team. Certainly, the trip to Stade Bordelais (N3) was a trap but the elimination (0-0, 5-4 tab) breaks the good Bergerac dynamic of recent weeks.

Tirs au but fatals

The defeat of Condat-sur-Vézère, Petit Poucet (D3), was more expected against Saint-Pantaléon-de-Larche (R2). The score is not too heavy (0-2) but at least the party was good for the Condatois. Montpon/Ménestérol (R3) and Prigonrieux (R2) may harbor regrets.
