Patrice Sainsard remains municipal councilor responsible for town planning

“This is an internal election to the municipal council, the result of which is a foregone conclusion,” explained Violaine Papi, from the Tous Unis pour Milly group, deploring the choice of the new mayor to appoint three delegated municipal councilors compared to two previously as well as the decision to increase their compensation as well as those of the eight deputies.

“At a time when the city is in debt to the tune of five million euros, the signal sent to residents is not the most positive. Until the end of the mandate, we will remain vigilant,” she continued.

Unsurprisingly elected with 21 votes out of 26 ballots, Bernard Bouley was given the mayor’s sash by Patrice Sainsard who remains municipal councilor responsible for town planning.

The opening of a multidisciplinary health center expected

Substitute for the deputy of the 2nd constituency Franck Marlin from 1995 to 2020, Bernard Bouley replaced him in the National Assembly from 2020 to 2022, sitting in the Les Républicains group.

Now mayor of Milly-la-Forêt (4,600 inhabitants), the septuagenarian is committed to continue “crucial projects for the municipality” launched by his predecessor.

“The long-awaited multidisciplinary health center with the arrival of doctors, the house of craftsmen, the revision of the PLU, the development of the hamlet of La Forêt, the establishment of oasis courses in schools, the renovation of public lighting and the finalization of the bicycle plan and the road plan. traffic,” he listed.

Bernard Bouley also intends to initiate other achievements before the end of the mandate in 2026 such as the renovation of the nursery school, the burying of the rue Beauregard and rue Maillard networks as well as the acceleration of the sidewalk and road renovation program.
