The association The Elegant Ladies of the Aunay Mountains aims to organize events of vintage cars and motorcyclesand to relaunch the Elegantes parade.

This will be done on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September, with the historic rise of the OdonA parade motorcycle race which will be held in the woods of Monts d’Aunay, in Calvados.

This is not a race, there is no time trial. It is a gathering of enthusiasts and collectors who ride their old machines dating from before 1985, they are collector’s items. The oldest motorcycle dates from 1938. Of the 90 registered motorcyclists, we will have 10 female riders and 11 sidecars. This event is aimed at insiders.

A free concert the day before the motorcycle parade

This makes 3 years that Dominique Chevalier is working on this project. “We first want to please and involve the people of Aunay.” At the end of the parade, a jurycomposed of residents and staff of the MAS, will elect the most beautiful motorcycle and the most beautiful stand.

On Saturday evening, September 28, the day before the parade, a free concert with two orchestras will take place at the Aunay village hall, and a service of restoration will be installed near the village hall.

THE paddocks will be installed the same day near the village hall, and the public will be able to meet the pilots And admire their machines.

The next day, Sunday 29, the RD54 will be closed to traffic from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., from the Aunay village hall to RoucampsThe start will be on the RD54, at the foot of the woods, and the finish at the top of the woods in Roucamps, a distance of 1.5 km, which the motorcycles will cover in two series.
