The latter, let’s call him Charles, and his escort, let’s call him Dimitri, were sent before the criminal court to answer for a malicious obstruction of traffic and several traffic violations. Only Dimitri went, Charles being held up by his work near Liège.
Car theft

Two guilty parties, according to the prosecution
The prosecution claims that Charles is guilty of stealing his grandfather’s car, maliciously obstructing traffic and several traffic violations. A sentence of 18 months in prison is requested.
The prosecution believes that Dimitri is also guilty of malicious obstruction of traffic.During his police interview, Charles stated that Dimitri had asked him to head towards Maubeuge, from Cuesmes, which caused the accident.“, indicates the representative of the prosecution. Punishable participation is retained by the public prosecutor.
Acquittal and favourable measure

He could not do anything to stop this car“, pleads the lawyer, who therefore demands acquittal.

In 2019 and 2022, Dimitri was subject to probationary conditions as part of two judgments issued by the court. The first probation was revoked in 2022 and the second was up for debate this Thursday. The prosecution is requesting its revocation.
Mr Henrion pleaded for the suspension of the sentence for Charles, who had been picked up by the police at his home.
