Haier, the household appliance specialist, has announced its official launch in Morocco. This establishment aims to meet the expectations of Moroccan customers looking for premium products with high-end design and cutting-edge technology.
“The official launch of Haier in Morocco confirms the group’s commitment to Moroccan consumers. It is part of the consolidation of local establishments through an offer of top-of-the-range products, with a superior design, equipped with cutting-edge technologies offering superior quality. said Yannick Fierling, CEO Haier Europe.
Hajar Bellamine, Country Manager Haier Morocco, underlined: “ The Moroccan household appliance market has great potential. Haier has strong capital in connectivity and IoT ecosystems. The global brand offers discerning consumers modern, high-end products. Thanks to innovation, which is at the heart of Haier, our offer includes a wide range of devices equipped with the most advanced technologies, offering a unique and personalized user experience. We provide our customers with a passionate and experienced team to support our deployment in Morocco. »
Haier emphasizes connectivity by offering a complete ecosystem serving the customer experience. From refrigerators to freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, cooktops, ovens, hoods and televisions, Haier integrates connectivity as a fundamental principle. With the “hOn” mobile app, which brings together all connected devices, Haier offers more than just connected products. By the end of 2023, all household appliances, including those of the group’s other brands, will be connected. Users will be able to manage the contents of their refrigerator during their shopping or launch a washing cycle remotely. For example, a refrigerator may recommend a recipe based on the food it contains and launch a cooking program on the oven. This is an eloquent example of the real added value of the “hOn” ecosystem.
Present in 160 countries, with 100,000 employees and 117 factories, the Haier group recorded a turnover of 32.6 billion euros in 2022 and grabs 17% of market share. It is ranked 4th in the European top 5 and intends to invest 280 million euros for the construction of three new production units over the next two years. Its main objective is to double the turnover.
In Morocco, the Haier subsidiary promises the construction of a production unit before the end of 2030. The group recently launched the construction of a factory in Egypt for an investment of 160 million dollars. It will be operational in 2024.
