Art Basel : a sculpture exhibition at the Hôtel de Sully in

A contemporary art exhibition is being organized at the Hôtel de Sully, from October 12 to November 16, 2024, on the occasion of the new edition of Art Basel .

The fair Art Basel Paris is back in Paris for an even richer third edition. From October 18 to 20, 2024, the Grand Palace welcomes hundreds of galleries and contemporary artists from around the world, to present the best of their country’s art scene.

This great living room is accompanied by a rich and varied program, ranging from conferences to some exhibitions unpublished. Outside the walls of the Grand Palais, in museums, cultural venues or well-known sites in the capital, we can thus find different artistic events during this period which puts contemporary art in the spotlight.

From October 12 to November 16, 2024, the curious and art lovers can meet at theSully Hotelto discover a very special exhibition. This year, the sculptor Lynn Chadwick is being honored in a three-part retrospective exhibition, which begins in Paris and continues in New York and then in Asia.

Art historian Matthieu Poirier wanted to highlight this British artist by offering a chronological journey, which presents the major periods of the artistic career of Lynn Chadwick. In Paris, you can admire nearly 60 works made between 1947 and 1962. Hybrid creatures, experiments around architecture and geometric forms, this first chapter of the retrospective addresses the beginnings of the sculptor’s career.

The Hôtel de Sully exhibition is also presented at the Perrotin gallery Paris during the same period. Come (re)discover this fascinating artist during the Art Basel Paris fair!
