Guided tours of the Creuse Prefecture Hotel

For his 41 e edition, the European Heritage Days will be held on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September and will have as themes “The heritage of routes, networks and connections and maritime heritage”.

These days offer the opportunity to visit monuments and sites, often open exceptionally. The Prefecture of Creuse is once again joining in this event by offering free guided tours of the Hôtel de la Préfecture on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Anne Frackowiak-Jacobs, Prefect of Creuse, and Christelle Dupas, Director of the Departmental Unit of Architecture and Heritage (UDAP), will welcome visitors and allow them to discover the history and composition of this building, a witness to the classical architecture of the 18th century. e century, rebuilt in 1748 and state property since 1802.

Meet at 4, Place Louis Lacrocq, in front of the gates of the Cour d’Honneur. Visitors will be able to discover the Cour d’Honneur, the entrance hall, the dining room, the prefect’s office, the reception rooms and the park/garden of the Hôtel de la préfecture.
