Crime fiction and wine on display together at Lisle-noir

Lisle-Noir, an annual event for black literature and independent winemakers, marks its return to Lisle-sur-Tarn on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September. A 9th edition designed around Spanish crime fiction. The French people’s favourite literary genre, black literature reveals a very rich universe.

It is through the meeting with around forty authors, round tables, an escape game, a literary café and tasting sessions that these “Vendanges du polar” propose to mix the thrills of the detective novel with the delights of wine. In a great festive moment that is aimed at informed audiences as well as the most novice.

Salvagnac. “Materre” exhibits the poetry of bodies

Drawings made from live models.
DR – A. Favero

On Sunday, September 22, the Café au Bord du monde in Salvagnac is taking the opposite approach to Heritage Days by highlighting women’s cultural heritage in a Matrimoine Day. An event supported by several cultural centers in the area.

For the occasion, the Salvagnac café invites Rabastinoise Agathe Favero to exhibit around fifteen of her works: charcoal drawings, sculptures and metal bas-reliefs. A cosmogony of female bodies; nudes gathered under the title of “Materre” to try to capture this intimate territory whose scope is eminently universal. The opening will take place on Sunday, September 22 at 11 a.m. The exhibition will be visible until October 31.

Lautrec. Musical journey to Plùm

Café Plùm is offering to close the week with two very eclectic concerts. On Friday, September 20, the group Mîrkut invites you on a timeless journey to the time of Kurdish songs, popular and festive. Between tradition and modernity, it offers a musical escape to the East with a psychedelic groove/rock sound.

Saturday night, the Lautrécoise stage hosts an “a capella women’s story” with the Apple Fizz trio. Three women, three voices, who come to sing their stories of travel, love and life. A repertoire of covers and compositions from rock, blues, pop or reggae. Reworked with an “Apple Fizz” twist.
