Traffic was severely disrupted on the RD 1016 on Monday, September 16, around 2 p.m. and continued until just after 3 p.m. It was initially an accident between two heavy goods vehicles that was reported to the police on the RD 1016 in the Clermont-Creil direction. Ultimately, the heavy goods vehicles do not appear to be directly involved, but more likely, a vehicle, which, for a reason that remains to be determined, collided with a truck.
The accident occurred under the Nogent-sur-Oise access ramp. The impact was not violent, but enough to make the light vehicle wobble. The latter ended up on its roof in the middle of the road. Emergency services intervened quickly, as did the police, who set up a diversion route to ease traffic flow.
The occupant of the vehicle was taken care of by emergency services, the light vehicle was removed and the road was returned to traffic during the afternoon.
