From Thursday, September 26, 2024, residents and professionals in the area will have to present their access card to activate the barrier and enter the recycling centers of Saint-Viaud, Saint-Père-en-Retz and Frossay. The Communauté de communes Sud Estuaire (CCSE) has deployed this device at the entrance to all its recycling centers, after having equipped the Saint-Brevin recycling center with this system a year ago.

The card is free and valid for the four sites in the territory

To date, 72% of residents have already made their request by completing the online form or the paper form available at town halls or at the CCSE environmental department. The card is free, valid for the four sites in the area and is sent by post. Please note that the Frossay recycling center does not have a barrier; users will have to show their badge to the reception agent. Only one card will be allocated per household for individuals, while professionals can have one card per vehicle, with a limit of five cards per company.
