The prefecture and the departmental hotel open their doors

Many places will be open to the public for the European Heritage Days, Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024 in Mayenne.

On this occasion, the prefectural hotel and the departmental hotel, in Laval (Mayenne) will open their doors on Saturday 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. “Once the tour of the prefectural hotel (guided) and its gardens has been completed (free), visitors will continue their discovery on the side of the departmental hotel. Visitors will have access to the session room, where departmental assemblies take place, but also to the office of the president of the Department, Olivier Richefou. They will be welcomed by departmental advisers who will present their role and the missions of the Department”indicates the communications department.

Exhibitions

It will also be possible to take a photo with a torch used during the torch relay. An exhibition retraces the Olympic year.

A second exhibition on the écurues (voluntary lowering of the water level of the river to carry out maintenance work) will also be accessible.
