L’Oréal is organizing a free fashion show in the heart of , causing major traffic disruptions

It has almost become a tradition. Since 2017, the L’Oréal Paris fashion shows have marked the beginning of Parisian fashion weeks. For this fashion week dedicated to spring-summer 2025 ready-to-wear, the show will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 on the Opera Squarein the heart of the capital.

The full parade but broadcast live

Eva LongoriaLeïla Bekhti, Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis Or Jane Fonda – to name just a few of the brand’s muses – are set to parade on the catwalk set up in front of the Opéra Garnier. They will embody this year’s chosen theme: “Walk Your Worth”.

Open to the public and free, seats were booked within hours and the show is already selling out complete. It will nevertheless be possible to follow it remotely on the Instagram account of the French cosmetics brand.

An event that should delight fashion lovers and annoy the motorists because traffic will be very disrupted in the area. The Paris police prefecture has published a decree which provides for the following changes:

– The circulation of any type of vehicle is prohibited from September 21, 2024 at 8 p.m. at September 24, 2024 at 6 a.m., Place de l’Opéra, in its portion between Rue Auber and Rue Halevy, in Paris 9th.

– The circulation of any type of vehicle is prohibited from September 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. at September 24, 2024 at 1 a.m., in the following streets, in Paris 9th:
– rue Auber, between rue Scribe and place de l’Opéra;
– rue Halévy, between place Jacques-Rouché and place de l’Opéra;
– Place de l’Opéra, between Rue Auber and Boulevard des Capucines;
– Place de l’Opéra, between Rue Halévy and Boulevard des Capucines.
