Since its rehabilitation, theSalt Warehouse from Saint-Valery-sur-, in the Sumhas established itself in the local landscape as one of the crucial points of exchange, meetings and discoveries.

Its auditorium of just over 300 placesfor example, has become the emblem of an open and enriching culture, which is available to all.

There is no doubt that he will continue to play this role this season. 2024-2025with a cultural program unveiled very recently by the municipality and resolutely placed under the sign of eclecticism.

Ten dates, each bringing a different proposition where everyone can find what they are looking for, in what the mayor of the town Daniel Chareyron describes it as a “real fireworks display”.

THE theater will be both classical and musical, the opera will find its place just as much as the cabaretthere music will resonate with pop, rock or soul notes… and, for the first time, the dance will further enrich the experiences offered.

Saturday September 21
Maya, A Voice. Musical show directed by Éric Bouvron retracing the childhood of Maya Angelou, American author and activist alongside Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.

Tuesday October 15
Zorro or the scourge of Capistrano, by the company “les rêves oranges”. A play accessible to young audiences narrating the first adventure of the famous masked horseman, Zorro.

Saturday October 19
Culture Wave. The group Culture Wave, made up of four friends who grew up with the Wave music of the 80s, offers a trip back in time to the sound of the hits of these beautiful years.

Saturday October 26
The beautiful journey, by the Baltimbanques company. Play by Daniel Boulanger, writer, actor and screenwriter in love with Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, which will be performed as part of a day of homage.

Saturday November 23
Opera and charming melodies, by Élise Archambaut. Concert aimed at both neophytes and music lovers where the joyful soprano will share her love of music and words, from Carmen to West Side Story.

Friday December 13th
Disco cabaret review, by the company “Les p’tites folies”. A review placed under the sign of disco, which will offer a musical and visual journey into the effervescence of the 70s and 80s.

Two new subscriptions

To allow as many people as possible to enjoy these shows and encourage new audiences by pushing open the doors of the Warehouse, the municipality is continuing its policy of preferential rates.

THE minorsstudents and job seekers will be able to attend the performances at a fee reducedand seven of the events on the programme will be accessible for free for children under 12 years old.

The subscription system has been revised and simplifiedgoing from four formulas last season to just two This year.

  • The Enthusiast: an annual subscription at the price of 125 € (€80 for minors) giving access to all shows and representing a saving of 25%.
  • The Conqueror: a so-called “discovery” subscription giving access to three shows of your choice over the season for an amount of 40 €.
