On June 12, 2014, Karim Tir was attacked by two men on a motorcycle in Asnières-sur-Seine. His car was found embedded in a van, the hood and windshield riddled with four bullets.

After five years in prison for drug trafficking, the man had tried to rebuild his life by settling in Paris and managing his own businesses, particularly in music. All the while fearing “Let it be his turn” to be shothis relatives had confided during the first trial.

In this case, the singer Jul, with whom Karim Tir teamed up at the time of the explosion of his career, was used by the commando as a “beacon” to locate the manager.

The investigation into his death had followed the trail of a settling of scores in a conflict between members of two Marseille drug trafficking clans, with on one side the Tir, allied with the Berrebouh, and on the other the Remadnia, associated with a team of criminals from Marignane of which Mohamed Seghier is one of the leaders, according to the judicial police.

The decision of the Bouches-du-Rhône Assize Court is due to be delivered on September 20.
