The Minister of the Interior announces the launch of an exceptional campaign for issuing passports and identity cards

The Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Jean Baptiste Tine, announced, on Saturday in Dakar, the launch of an exceptional campaign of delivery of passports and national identity cards.

Scheduled from Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 January 2025, this initiative will take place simultaneously in Dakar, Thiès and Ndame.

Citizens wishing to obtain these identity documents will be able to go to the dedicated sites during these three days: the Millennium door in Dakar, the Place de France in Thiès, and the sub-prefecture of Ndame, located in the Diourbel region.

This campaign aims to meet the needs of populations who do not yet have access to these official documents, thus facilitating their acquisition.
