A resolved legal dispute

The launch of Polestar in France had been delayed due to a dispute with Citroën concerning the similarity of their respective logos. In 2019, Citroën had brought legal action, believing that the Polestar logo looked too much like its famous chevronschevrons.

This dispute led to a temporary ban on the marketing of Polestar vehicles in France. After several years of legal proceedings, the two manufacturers reached an agreement during the summer of 2022, thus raising the obstacles to the entrance to Polestar on the French market.
