Weapons stolen from the police in Geneva: the car was open

The unmarked police car in which two machine guns were stolen in March 2024 was in the underground car park of the Alps, in the Pâquis. According to the “Tribune de Genève”, the thief discovered that the left rear window of the vehicle was ajar. A boon for the man, who has released and returned to the parking lot and in the automobile several times, between 10:30 p.m. and 3:50 am. He finally seized the two weapons and two chargers of thirty strokes each.

Twenty minutes after his departure, he went to water the window of a Pâquis coffee with bullets, the “Wilson by Dahlak”. According to the Geneva daily, the shooter had a financial dispute, on 40,000 francs, with the manager. The defendant, arrested the same day at the Seymaz household, is a 21 -year -old Turkish asylum applicant arrived in Switzerland in 2022. This Kurd had already dealt with the police eight. He persists in denying his involvement despite DNA traces left in the police car and on one of the two weapons, abandoned in a trash can. The second gunner pistol has never been found. It was sold in the black market.
