A cyclist seriously injured on the Malagnou road

An accident involving a cyclist occurred Thursday around 8:30 p.m. on the road from Malagnou to Geneva (illustrative image).

In Geneva, a cyclist was seriously injured after a fall which occurred Thursday around 8:30 p.m. on the Malagnou road near the Natural History Museum. The 40-year-old man was unable to speak when he was taken to hospital.

It was not possible to determine the circumstances of the accident, nor in which direction the cyclist was traveling before falling heavily on the sidewalk with his bicycle, the police said on Friday. Law enforcement is looking for witnesses to this accident.
