The town of Châtillon-sur-Colmont (Mayenne), which today has nearly 950 inhabitants, is looking for a person to manage its grocery store.

At the beginning of 2020, this one, located on rue des Anciens-Combattants, closed its doors just before the municipal elections and the Covid that followed. The municipal team led by Mayor Alain Chauvin decided to acquire this building and renovate it.

“The Châtillonnais are waiting for this business”

“Elders told us of the wish to have a local grocery store in the town, accessible to allspecifies Alain Chauvin. We invested €138,000 excluding tax. We applied for a grant from the Region for €25,000”. The mayor indicates that he was contacted by the commercial brand Proxi, ready to help the future manager. “The people of Châtillon are waiting for this 70 m² local business, it’s their wish”says the mayor. The inhabitants will be the actors. “The rental is €270, notice to candidates”.
