Dark days for the man who is, without doubt, the most famous Senegalese influencer from Touba! “Thioune Boutique”, not to name it, is, in fact, at the time these lines are written, in dire straits because it is in the hands of Darou Marnane’s gendarmes. He has, on his heels, a pharmacist who accuses him of fraud involving a sum of 15 million francs.
It all started with a story of land for sale presented to the pharmacist, three to be exact. One would be in Touba and the other two in Thiés. Thioune and his client therefore went to the rail capital to look at the location of the plots in question. Confident, the pharmacist began to pay sums of money until they reached 15 million francs. Unfortunately, reports our source, “the two plots of land which were supposed to be in the rail capital belonged to others at the time when the last one located in the religious city was already sold. Which made it clear that the documents presented were false because they were duplicated.”
THE TRAP
Clearly disillusioned, the pharmacist takes legal action against the man who had apparently become his friend. Which forced Thioune to emigrate to Morocco. A trip that was not expected to last because the influencer turned back to settle in Dakar, walling himself in total “tik tok silence”.
Informed of his return to the country, relatives of the pharmacist will choose to enter the game, refining a strategy to trap him. On the phone, a person will introduce themselves to Thioune as a restaurant promoter in Kaolack and wishing to obtain advertising from him. The contract was quickly sealed with a sum of 250,000 francs at stake. At the time, he will receive 25,000 to reach the capital of Saloum. Arriving around 8 p.m., he will be held by one of his executioners. “When I saw him in the Peugeot 406, I went to the driver’s side before turning off the vehicle and breaking the key in two. It was to immobilize them. This is how we caught him and then informed the Darou Marnane gendarmerie. A few minutes later, it was the Kaolack research brigade who came to pick him up before sending him to Touba.”
-On the side of Thioune Boutique, we are informed that the accusations are partly rejected. For the famous influencer, these are only small malfunctions and that the targeted sum could not exceed 06 million francs.
