David Guion: “The walk between Bordeaux and Angers is not huge and he has the ability to adapt well to his environment”

Alexandre Dujeuxthe SCO coach, spoke about the former central defender of the Girondins de Bordeaux. “He’s a young boy who started with the Girondins de Bordeaux. He had a lot of athletic problems last year. He arrived at our house. We were perhaps looking for a boy with a little more experience, and depending on the opportunities we were able to create a boy like that who is very promising. I don't know how far he can go. His margin for improvement is difficult to assess, but it is large. He’s a boy with potential.”

So, without any real physical preparation, and with the physical problems that had kept him away from the field the entire previous season, the Angevin club wanted to take their time. Despite everything, for the first part of the season, Emmanuel played numerous matches, even winning in the center of defense.
