This Sunday morning, January 19, around 9 a.m., two heavy goods vehicles collided on the national 10 in the Poitiers-Angoulême direction, just after the Minières de Payré interchange, in Valence-en-Poitou.
-The accident between the two trucks was impressive.”A first lay down and the second hit him“, details the Interdepartmental Directorate of Atlantic Roads (Dira). No injuries have been reported, but the road is completely closed in this direction of traffic.
Among the heavy goods vehicles involved, a Spanish pear transport truck overturned on its side. Due to its loading, its repair is particularly long. According to Dira, the road could be closed until late afternoon or early evening.
In the meantime, a diversion has been put in place from Payré in order to recover the N10 near Lusignan. Strong slowdowns are expected in the sector. The Dira calls for caution and invites motorists coming from Paris and heading towards Bordeaux to take the A10 motorway, via the Poitiers ring road.
