-Alpes de Haute-Provence-
This Saturday morning, eight firefighters and two vehicles from the Alpes de Haute-Provence firefighters went to the town of Cairo for a fire in a natural area. The fire was caused by an overflow of burning water (ancestral agricultural technique). The fire could have spread over a hundred hectares but thanks to the speed and efficiency of the firefighters, it was able to be contained. The affected area was limited to two hectares, thus avoiding a much larger and more destructive spread.
