“It feels good to win at home. Finding this victory really does the mind good. The defeat of Saint-Malo? Yes, we followed, so that’s even more fun, of course […] I think we had a good match. They still had more possession most of the time, but we were still able to keep the score, and we were dangerous on several occasions. We could have even had a bigger score for us. But we are all quite happy with our match, and especially to have won.”
Bordeaux instead left the ball to their opponent. Was this wanted?
“If it was intentional to give them the ball? We scored early, so maybe we relaxed a little. But no, it wasn't necessarily wanted that they had the ball […] What's the best thing to do to avoid this? Maybe relax less after scoring, and try to keep moving forward a little more. It’s up to us to do it, and I think we’re going to do it (smile).”
