Grône (VS): five young people arrested after the burglary of a kiosk

The events took place on Tuesday, shortly after 11 p.m. The thieves broke the window of a kiosk in Grône (VS), before seizing various items and fleeing by car. Alerted by a witness, the cantonal police located the vehicle between Bramois and Sion. On board, three minors aged 15 and 16, as well as two young adults aged 20 and 21. All five were apprehended. During the search, all of the stolen loot was found.

The three minors, all of foreign nationality, were placed in the Pramont closed educational center, while the two adults, a Swiss and a foreigner, were imprisoned in the Iles prison in Sion. The Juvenile Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office have opened investigations.
