An effective response to current economic and climatic challenges, as well as optimized logistics: this is how we can qualify the performance of the Casablanca fruit and vegetable wholesale market in 2024. According to a press release released by Casaprestationsthis logistics platform received around 1,600,000 tonnes of products over the past year. This activity generated revenues reaching 177 million dirhams, recording an increase of 10% compared to 2023. In addition, 233,000 trucks passed through the market in 2024.
“In a context marked by major climate challenges, these exceptional results underline the effectiveness of the governance put in place and the resilience demonstrated throughout the year. They also illustrate the combined efforts of all stakeholders involved, including market management, public authorities and traders,” emphasizes Casaprestations.
This performance strengthens the position of this platform as a key player at the regional and national level, thus becoming the second contributor to the revenue of the municipality of Casablanca.
-Since its opening, the fruit and vegetable wholesale market has been managed by the local development company Casablanca Prestations, created in 2014. The latter has implemented initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement of services, thus responding to the expectations of professionals in the sector.
