More fear than harm, fortunately, for these two young people. Early in the morning, at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday January 15, a motorist and her passenger, both aged 20, were driving on a road near the town of Beaussais-Vitré, near Niort. The driver then took an unnamed lane, which was particularly icy.
Surprised, the young woman lost control of her vehicle, it sliding down the embankment before completely overturning on its roof.
The two occupants were able to get out of the car and were taken care of by firefighters. They were not injured but were evacuated to the Niort hospital center to undergo check-ups.
