The situation is complicated on the roads of Orne, this Wednesday January 15, 2025. The cold wave which has been raging in France for several days makes traffic conditions difficult. However, Météo France had not issued a “snow-ice” warning for the morning.
Numerous accidents occurred in the morning in all sectors of the department, firefighters said. It is still unknown whether these accidents caused any casualties.
Precautionary advice
For its part, the Orne departmental council reports that “many areas of ice are present throughout the territory. Our teams are mobilized to ensure traffic and your safety on departmental roads. Be careful when traveling.”
