What do our elected officials want? The cost of living is increasing but our salaries are not keeping up! How can we justify being paid the minimum wage for one child, and only 70% for the second and third? As family assistants, we offer all children the same education with values ​​and happiness and, at Christmas for example, the children received receive several gifts like our own children, even if the Department only finances 40 euros per child. child. We don't count!!! And, fortunately, but it weighs on our budget. Does the department expect us to work voluntarily and without any rest?

The CST having been boycotted by the union delegations, Loïc Ronflet, president of the FA-FPT, requested the chairman of the meeting to welcome a delegation of family assistants. Nadia Gouin and Sophie Maillot, both family assistants in the sector for several years, were able to be heard and express their dissatisfaction with other colleagues in the department.

They presented their point of view, which made it possible to obtain a postponement of the CST which took place on Monday. However, the disappointment remains because the Department cites software problems to justify the delays in the reimbursement of mileage costs as well as the remuneration of 80% for the reception not carried out due to the employer.

The family assistants say no, that’s enough! Anger is brewing among family assistants whose hope is that the department will hear them and take action.
