76 beds were opened in accommodation structures thanks to the mobilization of the Bordeaux Diaconate, the Information and Orientation Reception Center (CAIO) and the Lien association. If necessary, 24 places at the hotel can also be mobilized. A measure that applies all week and until further notice next Monday.

A municipal hall open to all
To allow homeless people who would not have been able to benefit from one of these places not to sleep outside, a Bordeaux municipal hall is also open from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. this week. It is located in the Capucins district, at 16 rue Saumenude. On site, mediators from CCAS and GIP Médiation will also support the homeless. “to initiate, where possible, pathways towards housing and definitive exits from the street”specifies the Gironde prefecture.
