Temperatures have dropped significantly since the start of the week in the region. The departments of Ardennes and Marne have been placed on extreme cold yellow alert since Monday by Météo France. This Tuesday is the coldest day of the week in our region with temperatures well below seasonal norms.

In the Ardennes, frost was present last night with the mercury exceeding -7°C in three quarters of the department.
At the start of the day, -8°C was recorded in Charleville and in the tip of the Ardennes. -7.5°C for the Sedan region or -7°C in Juniville in the southern Ardennes.
Note that the coldest value in the Ardennes department dates back to 1997 with -17.5 degrees recorded in Charleville according to the Météo 08 Facebook page.
