A system which will be maintained this Tuesday, January 14, and will come into force at the same time in the department of Eure.

In question? “The maintenance of anticyclonic atmospheric conditions with cold temperatures and very weak winds are favorable to the accumulation of fine particles less than 10 and 2.5 µm. These particles are mainly linked to human activitiesindustry, heating, traffic…” can we read on the ATMO Normandie website.

The few degrees higher expected in the middle of the week could lower these concentrations, without any certainty. In the meantime, it is recommended, and in particular for sensitive and vulnerable people, to “favor shorter outings and those that require the least effort“ or even “reduce, or even postpone, intense physical and sporting activities indoors and outdoors, including competitions”.
