Two police officers were injured during a refusal to comply in Valence, indicates the prefect of Drôme in a press release. According to the prefecture, two minor offenders deliberately accelerated towards the officers in a vehicle that they had just stolen with violence using a firearm.
One of the police officers was operated on for a broken leg and the second had injuries. Their state of health is stable, but they received a total incapacity for work of 45 and 7 days respectively.
The two suspects were unfavorably known to the police and were able to be intercepted by another police team. A third individual was also arrested this Monday.
