The staff of theOL welcomed a new kid at the start of the week. Indeed, following the departure of Jean-Marc Laboratory equipmentthe former club doctor, the Lyonnais recruited Manuel Afonso. The “doc” passed through the CS Sedanbut also by the national team of Senegal, left his luggage in Lyon last Monday. The new doctor has already spoken for the official media of the seven-time French champions (2002-2008).
“I don’t know the rest of the staff at all. It’s a complete discovery”
He returned to the conditions of his arrival within the Rhone medical team. “It happened during the holidays, I arrived very quickly. I had a quiet New Year's Eve then I went down to Lyon last weekend and started on January 6”. He also spoke about his working methods within a technical framework that he admits to discovering completely. “I will start by observing the functioning already in place, I will then take the continuity and I will make modifications at the margins to try to improve. The goal is always improvement”.
