Cyclo-cross. Célia Géry, French junior champion… two medals in one race!

In the mud of Pontchâteau, for the French championships, Célia Géry showed once again that she is made of different wood from girls of her age. The race mixed the U23s and the elites and awarded two French champion titles. After six perfectly controlled laps, Célia Géry was always in the top 3 of the race, with Amandine Fouquenet and Hélène Clauzel.

The sprint decision

Ultimately, the decision will be made in a sprint and in this little game, the Ardéchoise suffered somewhat. She finally finished as French junior champion and bronze medalist among the elites behind Fouquenet and Clauzel.

With these two new medals, she confirms her good form, after her hopeful European title, at the end of 2024.
