In Los Angeles, the flames particularly affected two neighborhoods which include the residences of many personalities from the cinema industry. On social networks, some have testified about what they experienced.
“The fire is coming and there is no firefighter”actor Sebastian Harrison is alarmed as a wall of flames dangerously approaches. His car no longer starts, he chooses to take refuge at the edge of the ocean and will be rescued at the last minute by the firefighters. Like him, many celebrities have seen their homes destroyed, such as Laeticia Hallyday, Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins.
In Malibu, Milo Ventimiglia returns to his neighborhood for the first time. The actor famous for his role in Gilmore Girls et This Is Us barely had time to evacuate with his nine-month pregnant wife. “It’s rough. It’s happening so quickly. I think about all our memories here in every room of this house. I see the neighbors’ rooms and the desolation all around and my heart is in pieces”he explains. Friday January 10, actress Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry came to offer their help for a reconstruction which promises to be long and extremely expensive.
