Moroccan authorities have announced the opening of a call for tenders for the construction of a pipeline intended to connect the Bougdour water treatment plant, located in Tangier, Barlamane.com learned on Friday January 10. This project is managed by Amendis, a subsidiary of the Veolia group, as part of the extension of the region’s drinking water distribution infrastructure.
“Interested companies will be able to submit their proposals for five separate lots, each with specific requirements in terms of financing and guarantees”it was indicated. The cost estimates for each lot are as follows:
• Lot 1 : 19.31 million dirhams (approximately $190,000), with a security deposit of 350,000 dirhams (approximately $3,470).
• Lot 2 : 26.48 million dirhams (approximately $263,000), with a security deposit of 500,000 dirhams (approximately $4,960).
• Lot 3 : 57.47 million dirhams (approximately $571,000), with a security deposit of one million dirhams (approximately $9,930).
• Lot 4 : 40.95 million dirhams (approximately $406,000), with a security deposit of 800,000 dirhams (approximately $7,950).
• Lot 5 : 36.98 million dirhams (approximately $367,000), with a security deposit of 700,000 dirhams (approximately $6,950).
“The deadline for submission of tenders is January 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time”it was added, noting that the project “intends to strengthen the hydraulic infrastructure of the city of Tangier in order to support demographic growth and industrial development in the region.”
