Felines: the motorist flees after the collision
The gendarmerie was called on Monday at 6:20 p.m. by a 35-year-old woman who was the victim of a traffic accident that occurred in Félines, at an intersection. The victim of the accident explained that she was traveling on the RD 906 towards La Chaise-Dieu when her Peugeot was hit by a car which was traveling on the RD 135 and did not respect the priority. After the collision, the driver at fault got out of his vehicle to come and see if the driver was not injured. After which, he allegedly got back into a red pickup and continued on his way, which constitutes a hit-and-run. The thirty-year-old victim of the accident will file a complaint.
Le Monteil: a cyclist knocked down in the roundabout
A traffic accident occurred Tuesday morning in the Monteil roundabout. Shortly before 8 a.m., a motorist driving a Peugeot 308 station wagon entered the roundabout without seeing that a cyclist was already there. The car hit the ATV and the 48-year-old man, who was riding it, was thrown to the ground. He was taken care of by the Puy firefighters who took him to hospital for shoulder pain.

The cell phone was always connected to the online storage service and shared its files in real time on a digital space. The day after the theft, the victim noticed that a photo of sneakers had been added. She transmitted the information to the police, including the geolocation. These elements allowed the investigation to lead the next day to the arrest of a homeless man temporarily housed in a shelter. The pair of shoes that had put investigators on his trail was discovered in his bedroom. None of the items stolen from the car were found. The accused, aged 64, unemployed, was taken into police custody and brought to court yesterday.
-Monistrol-sur-Loire: drunk, he drives in the opposite direction
An accident involving two vehicles occurred Monday at 5:30 p.m. on boulevard François-Mitterrand in Monistrol-sur-Loire. A 58-year-old motorist was traveling in the opposite direction, where he collided head-on with a car traveling in the left lane. The driver of the latter, aged 42, complained of pain in her shoulder. She was taken care of by the firefighters who transported her to Firminy hospital. The suspect was not injured.
