In Eure, this municipality invests without increasing local taxes

The mayor of Thuit-de-l’Oison (Eure), Gilbert Doubetis one of the first to open the “ball” of wish ceremoniesin 2025. He therefore invited the residents, Friday January 3, to the Philippe Aubin multipurpose room.

It was the opportunity to present the 2024 municipal budget and to project oneself onto the planned actions for the new year. “The municipality invested this year €1.2 million without tax increase. There will also be no increase in the tax rate on our part in 2025.” loud applause welcomed this announcement from the mayor.

Gilbert Doubet cited the work carried out last year, such as the energy renovation of the primary school, now accessible to people with reduced mobility, or the Campanile village hall in Thuit-Anger which has had a makeover. In terms of security, the video protection was reinforced, in partnership with the gendarmerie.

Medical and dental offices

The mayor affirms his intention to continue his efforts in the health and education fields in the near future. The medical office will be transferred to the old town hall of Thuit-Anger, and a dental office will be built near the bakery for an opening planned for 2026. For seniors, an adapted residence project will soon be presented to residents.

€1,020 for the Walkers’ Association

Sylvain Bonenfant, who chairs the Roumois Seine community of communes (CCRS), indicated that the runoff structures will all be maintained in 2025, to limit the risk of flooding. He emphasizes the remarkable action of the Préhandys association, which provides support to disabled children and their families. “Préhandys needs to expand its premises and wishes to build an 80 m2 house which will double its reception capacity. The intermunicipality will award Préhandys a grant of €20,000 to help them carry out this great project. »

To conclude the evening, theAssociation of walkers from Roumois and Oison was honored. Chaired by Alain Mariette, this association is celebrating its thirty years of existence. She receives a gift of €1,020benefit of the “Boucle des Thuits” race last December, presented by Gilbert Doubet for the action of the association within the commune.
