Football: in the Gard-Lozère Cup, the Vauverdois did the job with great seriousness in Quissac

Facing Quissac, a team from Départemental 3, FC Vauvert, resident of Régional 1, behaved like a boss on Sunday in the 32nd final of the -Lozère Cup

By scoring two goals per half, Vauvert (R1) did the job seriously, Sunday January 5, in Quissac (D3).

The Quissacois are the first in action with a free kick which passes in front of the entire FCV defense without finding a taker (2nd). What followed was a large domination of the Camargue people. The Quissac block retreats to the edge of its surface and is subjected to the Vauverois siege.

Two Vauverdois shots on the bar

The FCV attacks continue. Bensaid's volley is diverted onto the crossbar (7th). Abbaoui's dry shot also crashed onto the bar (19th). Rakes, hooks, feints, Bidjou, the leader of Vauvert, displays his entire technical range and he opens the scoring with a superb curling shot (0-1, 24th). Shortly before the break, the unfortunate Dany Doyen scores against his side (0-2, 39th).

In the second half, Abdnabi Hammouch rotates without it harming his team's performance. “Everyone has a chance. This is our strength and the best way to keep everyone involved.”slips the FCV coach.

Bonne's double

With Maqrache, from 25 m, Quissac sounded the charge from the restart, in vain (47th). Vauvert controls and Bonne seals the victory for his team by scoring a double, first forgotten at the far post (0-3, 51st), then taking advantage of a defensive error (0-4, 61st). “In the second half, I moved to center forward to run a little moresmiled the Vauverdois defender at the end of the game. I didn’t come far from the hat-trick…”

Quissac has the opportunity to save the honor but Taboni's shot, after a solitary raid, is far too crossed (74th).
