Around 3:10 p.m., the man refused to stop after a serious traffic accident with another vehicle. The two police officers, securing the area, then intervened to intercept the person who was fleeing.
The police officers released administrative weapons without using them. They were not injured and will file a complaint.
An open investigation
The driver of the second vehicle involved was not injured. He also filed a complaint. An investigation has been opened, and the investigations have been entrusted to the local police station to identify and arrest the perpetrator.
“The police prefect provides all his support to the police officers in their missions carried out at the risk of their physical integrity,” the police headquarters told BFM Paris Île-de-France.
