Cannabis, heroin and a little cocaine. A man in possession of several dozen bags of drugs spent New Year's Eve in police custody in a cell at the Meudon police station.
Without his overly “nervous” driving, the individual would perhaps not have attracted the attention of the police crew who carried out a road check, Tuesday, late morning, on the quays of the Seine, route de Vaugirard . But a few dozen meters from the checkpoint, the motorist hit a service van from the city of Meudon with two municipal agents on board. Taken care of by the firefighters, the latter were not injured unlike the driver of the car who complained of pain in the wrist. A pain which, however, did not allow him to escape arrest. It was in fact under police escort that the individual was taken to the Ambroise Paré hospital in Boulogne-Billancourt. And it was under escort that he came out.
Firstly because the drug screening he carried out during his stay in the hospital turned out to be positive. Then because during the search of his vehicle, the police discovered a total of 30 bags containing 75 grams of cannabis resin, 10 grams of heroin and 6 grams of cocaine.
