In mid-October, the gendarmes of the brigade of Chantilly receive a complaint for the theft of a vehicle from a car dealership. This is the starting point of a great investigation. “Quickly, the investigations made it possible to identify the trail of a criminal network engaging in this type of misdeeds throughout ,” explain the Oise police on their Facebook page.

A well-established system

The investigation, continued by the Chantilly research brigade, highlights a well-established system with around fifteen vehicles identified as stolen since September 2024, for more than 600,000 euros in total damage.

The investigations led to the indictment of three identified people. They are arrested by the PSIG of Chantilly, Senlis et Clermont.

Six vehicles returned to their owners

Six vehicles were found and returned to their owners, in particular thanks to the intervention of Argoss technicians who confirmed that they were stolen and disguised vehicles.

Four other vehicles were seized as criminal assets, likely to have been financed with money from trafficking. “More than 17,000 euros, a weapon and professional equipment were also recovered,” specify the gendarmes.

Presented to the Senlis public prosecutor's office, the defendants were placed under judicial supervision while awaiting their judgment, scheduled in a few weeks.
