Casablanca motorists will soon be able to drive more easily on the Azemmour road (RR320), subject to endless traffic jams during rush hours. The redevelopment work on this artery, which connects Casablanca to the localities of Dar Bouazza and Tamaris, is indeed progressing quickly.
Four hoppers totaling a length of 3,050 meters are being built, supplemented by road sections of nearly 6 kilometers. “The first two hoppers, with a length of 1,000 and 400 meters, are already open to traffic, while the other two, 450 and 1,200 meters, are in their final phase and should be put into service very soon», explains Anass Guennoun, director of the infrastructure division at Casa Aménagement.
Part of a vast infrastructure and mobility development program, this project, whose budget amounts to 550 million dirhams, also includes the construction of various other works. Initially planned for this month of December, the end of the work has been postponed by one month, to January 2025.
