Three months after leaving, Patricia Mirallès is already back in the Government. This Monday, December 23, the municipal and metropolitan councilor of Montpellier was appointed Minister Delegate in charge of Memory and Veterans. Almost the same function that she already held, between July 2022 and September 2024, since she was… Secretary of State for Veterans and Memory.

Since then, Patricia Mirallès had returned to the Montpellier municipal council, where she contributed to the creation of a new opposition group baptized theProgressive & Republican Alliance For Montpellier alongside Bernard Travier and Luc Albernhe. Enough to launch the municipal elections of 2026, one might think.

Last June, the Macronist was beaten in the first round of the legislative elections, in the first constituency of Hérault. Arriving in third position behind the lepenist Josyan Oliva and the ecologist Jean-Louis Roumégas and qualified for the second round, she stood aside in the name of the Republican front.
