The big Christmas parade had a great success in , in Oise, this Saturday December 21, 2024. Nearly 15,000 people gathered in the city center to attend this flagship event of the Christmas Fairies.

Families, curious people and street performance enthusiasts came to admire the illuminated procession. As a highlight: Pegasus, a giant mechanical horsecaptivated spectators with its majesty.

A craze shared on social networks

In addition to Pégase, an essential creation of Compagnie Vapeur, illuminated floats and various artistic performances animated the parade, which lasted almost two hours in the city center of the largest city in the Oise.

The parade, organized by the City of Beauvais and staged by local artistic companies such as the Afro-Brazilian percussion group Samb'baggage and internationals such as the Dutch acrobat troupe Street circus by nightaroused certain amazement.

An event in the continuity of Christmas Fairies

The big parade on Saturday December 21 is a continuation of the 2024 Christmas Fairies, which began on December 6.

On the sidelines, the City of Beauvais confirmed its intention to renew the event next yearwith new surprises on the program. In the meantime, the Christmas market will take place until next Tuesday, December 31.

This parade marks the high point of the celebrations, crowning several weeks of festivities which transformed Beauvais into a real Christmas village.
